Kne Bosem
Israel’s original non-profit advocating legalization of marijuana and other natural entheogens or hallucinatory plants.
Scope of Activities
Kne Bosem’s strategic focus on public and governmental awareness of marijuana, its medical applications, economic and environmental benefits to the state, and historic use in Israel and in the Middle East, will influence public attitudes toward decriminalization and legalization of the use of marijuana. Kne Bosem will organize an annual conference on Marijuana Policy and Peace, meet with politicians and government agencies, such as the Ministry of Health (which has authority to issue medical prescription permits), publish and distribute Hebrew-language literature (books, articles, short films and brochures) regarding legalization and network with other non-profits, such as those interested in privacy rights. Kne Bosem will pursue legalization efforts until prohibition is ended and privacy rights ensured for all.
