Since the medical marijuana conference organized in January by the Ministry of Health, with assistance from Boaz Wachtel and Ale Yarok, the Ministry has been granting far more medical marijuana permits and efforts to establish a legal distribution system are underway. This week’s Jerusalem Post covered the story:

The event sponsored by the Ministry of Health was held at the Abarbanel Mental Health Center, on Thursday 17/01/2007.

The convention dealt with the all topics related to Cannabis and its medical implications and opportunities. Participating were experts from Israel and Europe. Some media attention was given to the event, in the daily press, the television and the major Israeli news websites.
